Question about "Pilgrims of the Wasteland"
Saw a lot fo conflicting info on this, so:

As I understand it, you can play this standalone story (which is separate from the main campaign) in the demo?

Some people here on the forums seem to say that it also exists in the maingame, and that it is longer in the maingame?

If this is correct (it is the same standalone story as the one in the maingame, but it is longer in the maingame) - will we be able to transfer our save from the prologue to the maingame?

Thanks in advance for any clarifying information!

1. A part of the Pilgrims of the Wasteland Story (The most linear part of the tutorial story).
2. 25 Turn limited main game

The part of the pilgrims of the wasteland story you can play is the exact same in the main game.
So it is really just a demo, but it does a good job because it shows you how the game is.
With all its strength and weaknesses.

You do not loose much time if you replay that part in the full game because by then you have allready read everything story related and can click yourself through in a few minutes until you are at the same point.

The devs on these forums have made the claim of it being multiple hours long, thus I'm not so sure.

Be careful, from what I can tell, a couple of choices in that demo keep you from advancing, I'm old, I didn't keep up with the interface and made some bad math choices. My fault, but no way back that I can tell, will probably keep me from buying what seems to be a good game. Seriously, I'm in to reading a lot. If the game interface or quest requirements don't work after spending hours reading and clicking, not gonna give you money for that. Books offer a linear story and don't require me to click around and get pissed off.
I think it's a good game, I just don't have $30 to gamble before it goes off sale.

Noted; personally, I don't tend to buy games with "prologues" until I know how the prologue functions exactly compared to the maingame (as there's no consistency in what a "prologue" is or how it is handled on a game to game basis, unlike simple demos).

My playtime is worth more to me than my money, so I try to avoid having to replay stuff. I already like the idea and artstyle of this game, so it's just a question of whether to play the Prologue before the main game or not (and I don't buy sequels normally before playing the first part of a story, which is what a prologue sometimes offers) - and if I can't find an answer to that, my library is big enough to just play something else instead, no biggie ^^

I'm still a spry 39-year old, so I'll do fine with resource management. Don't usually play these kinds of games anymore, but I'll play anything if it's beautiful and interesting ^^
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thank you very much for the explanation; I'll wait until I've purchased the main game to play then. It already looks great from what I can tell, so I don't need to do a testrun before I buy it.

Question about the text bug... in a text driven game, it seems a deal breaker to me that every time i check the glossary etc. the event text jumps seemingly randomly, forcing me to scroll back to where I was.. Is it like that in game also or only in the demo version..?

Is that correct in the current version?
I've started playing Pilgrims of the Wasteland and I don't like to repeat the same events in the main game.
