This vs Death Road to Canada

Hi all! I just discovered Death Road to Canada, and as I was browsing the store page, I saw this new game from the same devs, and many reviews are describing it as basically a bigger better version of DRtC. Is that true? Does this game pretty much obsolete DRtC? Or are these completely different styles of games that do so many things differently that they each appeal to different niches within the broader core audience?

Any and all thoughts appreciated! :)

Completely different styles so to speak. Even though they are both games of apocalyptic survival, they are definitely each their own gameplay design and style with, imho, only visual similarities and maybe some similarities in gameplay controls.

[Time.Walker.]

There are parallels (the rogue-like nature for example), but the gameplay is quite different. DRtC is also much more mature product.
