Day 2 Bug

I am on Day 2. The game ends within about 2 minutes of the start although according to the mission details i should have more time. I hear the scream and it says the hostage has died. I have played the level several times and not found the target before those approximately 2 minutes. According to the guide posted on the forum, the target appears sometime after the 2 minute mark. The game is basically unplayable now as I can't pass this level. Any suggestions are welcome.

Just played it and same problem, looks like this has not been fixed even after more than a year.
