Adventure Mode - Day 9 - Robbers?

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but after I shoot 2 of the robbers, my gun sight freezes up and I cannot move it to shoot the next robber. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? I play on a PC with a mouse.

You'll have to take out the driver in the car,
if you shoot any of the robbers from the bank, he will drives off invincible.
Hence the froze and fail.

This level is very bad. You have to wait doing nothing at each fail. It's not fun.

Yes, it is. Boring af and hard only by wasting time.

I'm currently on this level and I hate the whole having to wait for the targets to show up mechanic, and not just in this level but in previous levels too. I'm just sitting there wasting time.
