The game does support controller, you just need to bind most things yourself and some things can be difficult or impossible to bind, which may or may not be a deal breaker for you.

But seeing your attitude, it's more than likely that you can't even be arsed to attempt the binds - and even if you did, you would likely cry about there not being controller button icons.

So yeah the game clearly states it is built for mouse control - if that is already enough for you not to buy it, then don't.

Buy it, try it out to see if your sensitive ego can handle the not-out-of-the-box perfect binds and refund before 2 hours play time if it triggers you too much.

I don't add to any vitriol on gaming subjects but why is getting joysticks such an issue with newer games? I have back-engineered old Jane's flight sims to run on win 10 and the 3 I own "Thrustmaster T1600",' Logitech Extreme 3D Pro' , and 'Thrustmaster T-Flight Hostas' all work flawlessly. I own Vincemus but still cant get any of the 3 to work properly.

Update on Joystick \ sticks.
So after checking UN-checking , sliding invert tabs , messing with horizon , camera locked , not locked and too many other settings ThrustMaster 1600 working but its just not right
it just feels off , I don't want to hate on all the settings designed into Vincemus-Air Combat
as I am not that skilled in the Tech side of it but is it all a bit much ? or am I just that far off.

Hope this project is successful and your dedicated work all comes together.
I know its not easy and seems humans always knows what to do with things they do not make a living at . Those that do I respect.

I have an old Thrustmaster. I last used it on Battlefield 2. Must have been OS XP, or vista? I wonder if they have software updates for windows 10?

Update: I have a Thrustmaster Flight Stick X, from 2006. lol The computer recognizes it. So it may work. Amazon still sells it. $50.00.

PC games are first mouse and keyboard designed anything else is not a PC game. The reason most people are on steam is, to get and play PC games not Xbox or whatever. Time to understand, if you do not want PC games designed for mouse and keyboard games there are so many other places to go and buy.

Eh, this game is inspired by Ace Combat series, which is designed not for joystick but a Sony-style gamepad. So no, it's kinda suprising see decend mouse control in such game. Which reminds me about Warthunder of all things.

In the end, it's support any of this options, and if it's not enough then use Steam Input in XBox emulation mode.
