Report a translation problem
I got it to work by opening the swf file directly and playing it in Adobe's player. You can get it here from this folder.

Install the chrome one, and check where it says "Never get updates (not recommended) while installing. That way Adobe doesn't try to uninstall. If you don't see that option run the uninstaller then reinstall it and you should see it.
Once you do you can run the swf. Then the mardek.exe will work. After you do that you can close Mardek.exe and it'll play from Steam from that point onwards no problem.
