No. There is no editor.
The best you can you can do is rename players.

As in previous years, there will be an unofficial editor for Cricket Captain 2020. This year, the developers of the game have even offered to give support for the development of the unofficial editor. Therefore, I am hopeful that I will be able to make improvements compared to previous years.

It appears that after year one, new players will be generated. You could always find one you like, and change their name.
