Please make an arachnophobia setting that we may turn on that might be able to find a replacement for the spiders. I cannot do chapter 6, if I even hear the spider I freeze and close my eyes, it is my greatest fear ):. I also hate centipedes.

This is a serious fear, some people might have a little fear, which it seems like you have slight phobias in raft, but others can't even think about some of the things they are afraid of without getting massive anxiety/panic attacks. I hope you can realize some peoples fears are serious and yes it is a horror game but that doesn't mean they have to lose many players bc some people think its bs that its harder for some people to face their fears. I don't see why you have an issue, it would be a setting you'd have to turn on, you could just leave it off. This post isn't for you yet you sit here typing trying to clown on other fears when you probably have no clue what it is like to have a fear that deep,

Exactly. I'm dead afraid of the sea and anything involving it, yet I still somehow manage to play games involving the sea, even horror games. Asking to remove spiders from a horror game when a majority of the players doesn't have an issue with is is weird.

The admins have commented that the game is meant to be scary, and they won't be adding any settings to disable certain aspects to align with certain people's phobia's or fears.

i cant play the temple on chapter 6 cuz of my phobia of spiders, im not scare easily (i even lead my group of friends through the whole game being pretty chill), but you put some spiders and im passing out, i cant deal with it, it almost look irrational

SAMEEEE!! I carry my friends through the game every game, I don't get scared easily and can handle anything this game throws at me.... but spiders.... I can't-

Bit of a necro, while I understand the intent of the game is to be scary (and I was scared plenty of times by other monsters) they could still change the spider at the end into something that is scary without the telltale signs of it being a spider for such a mode. Devour has the mode for their one monster that's a spider lady and her spiders and still manages to be spooky. I have arachnophobia as well and I would not have been able to get through the last level of this game had I not been playing with friends and even half the time I hid in the hallways to avoid interacting with it as much as possible.

Altough I don't have arachnophobia, I can still agree that a arachnophobia setting should be added, especially if it disables players from beating a chapter.

Your idea sounds good in theory, but bad on practice. Disabling spiders for people with arachnophobia will set up a bad precedent: if people with arachnophobia got their wish, everyone else with different phobias will also want to have theirs as well, and suddenly the devs are now swamped with many requests to disable X thing because Y person has a Z phobia, and that'd increase the workload massively for the dev team.

So, as much as i'll sound like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for saying this, if you really can't play this game because of spiders, then this game is not for you, simple as that. I'd love to play The Mortuary Assistant for example, another awesome horror game, but i can't bring myself to play it because it's far too morbid for me. But i know the game simply isn't meant for me so i go play other stuff. Bottom line is, unless arachnophobia seriously starts threatening the game's sales (which i doubt it would), it's not practical for the devs to "fix" it
