Audio Issue
Great job but one small issue. While inside the VR experience I am unable to hear any audio, however when I trigger the Oculus menu I can hear the music and narration voice. I am using an Oculus Rift S.

That's really strange! So it seems like perhaps the audio is not being routed correctly to your headsets? I can't seem to replicate it here, unless I don't have my Index as the output device in Windows, I'm assuming that's not the case here? And moving the sliders around in the audio settings doesn't do anything either?

I've the same problem with an Oculus Rift S. Can only hear voice, music and sound when in the Oculus menu - in the game itself there's silence

Thank you for the information, we're currently investigating but don't have an Oculus ourselves so we might release a beta version that one of you can hopefully test!

Is this is something that occurs during any other SteamVR application?

It's working fine now. Before, when this was happening, it only affected this VR application. There are some instances where one needs to make sure a window is clicked/active to hear sound from the application, but this seemed to be a different behavior as mentioned above. It's working fine now at least on my Oculus Rift S. Great job!

As a high-end software developer myself, it's very helpful to disengage and meditate thoroughly every so often.

Thank you for the kind words! We did indeed also run into some audio stuff when the UE4 window is not selected, should've known that was it. One of those UE4 quirks I suppose. I'm happy to hear our island has helped you relax and stay tuned for updates :)

I have an HP Reverb G2 and while the environment looks great, there is no audio except for whatever Spotify I decide to play. No guided meditation, no voice etc. Too bad! :(

I just downloaded and played. I'm on Linux, valve index, proton experimental. Thrilled with the graphics. Unfortunately the audio is full of static. Can hear the woman, but the static makes it not a very meditative voice. Cannot hear the birds, nor the waves because of a buzzing sound. Beautiful "game". Something I am so happy to find. I hope you can fix the audio.

Update: Played again today. But first I went into the settings for audio. The voice was set for maximum (why is that the default?). So I set it much lower. All the other audio settings seemed appropriate. Yes! That fixed the audio! Everything was perfect!

I have the same issue as described by the OP on an Oculus Quest 2.

Have you tried messing with the audio settings or making sure the window of the game is focused?

i would have that issue with alot of pcvr games on quest 2 if you press windows button and g to pull up the xbox game bar you can easily fix your audio by making the defualt windows sound out put as your rift instead of the computers native speakers
