what gets classified as art?
I see the signature, it matches up. I add the modifers, but people keep telling me "i havent appraised this art piece" for things like sunglasses and etc.. Is that non exclusive with paintings? Should i be using it more often by day 11ish? I have no conecpt if im doing well or not either! I mean im selling stuff usually around 70% and up to 100! But i had to take a loan to cover my merchants license and i cant seem to make the funds to pay it back!

all my modifers are good as well, keep managing to sell items for the perfect price.

Hi Peter,

As far as I remember if an item is considered art it will have a card on it saying 2D Art or 3D art. The only exception I can remember are the Music scores. They don't have the Art card, but they are considered as art by the game.

If you get these comments "i haven't appraised this art piece" by the customers for other items I think they don't mean it literally. Probably just a play on words and you just missed some other detail about the item. Since I never got this comment myself for other items.

As for doing good. You should buy items at 70% of the appraised value and sell at around 120%. This way you will get at least 50% profit plus any additional modifiers you get from improved skills.

Also you can dig through trash cans that are on the sides of the shopping area. You can find money and discarded items that you can sell for extra cash. I just don't recommend doing it longer than the first few weeks because people will notice and you will have a hard time selling items since they will say that the items might have come from a trash can.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

idk what that guy is talking about btw you can appraise any painting or sculpture, there's the artwork tab and you can rate it based on if it's signed or not
if theres art card on the item then it is an art xD

When appraising a piece of art, you also have to go to the Artist tab in your handbook and say if it is was a Great Piece<During one's Prime<Deceased Artist If the Artist is ON the list or Failed Piece<Poor Piece<Fine Piece If the Artist is NOT on the list
