How have you been coping with the hot summer(Cold Winter, otherwise)? Despite the heat, we are thrilled to bring you news about our new game.

Our team has been developing a new game, Forest Heroes, for the last several months. Forest Heroes combines tower defense with roguelike deck-building mechanics, featuring simpler and clearer gameplay than our previous titles. In this game, you will become an elf, protecting a forest suddenly cursed and corrupted. Your mission is to gather animal allies and fight against the spoiled plants to save the forest.

While this may sound a bit dark, both ally and enemy characters are depicted in a cute, cartoon style, making the overall game atmosphere delightful and charming.

The game is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, but a demo will be available later today. For those who enjoyed No Umbrellas Allowed, we believe Forest Heroes will offer another layer of fun, so we hope you’ll give it a try.

Hello from Hoochoo Game Studios to our dear players around the world!

This must be our first hi to you since the new year has begun. During the last few months, the studio has been fixing multiple problematic spots in the game found and thankfully reported by our players.

So, a medium-size update is on its way, and with the upcoming update, we’re announcing a discount event to promote a rework of the English language version of No Umbrellas Allowed.

After its release, the game has been enjoyed by numerous global players, but there have also been requests for refining its English script. And finally, yes, the new English language version of the game will soon arrive and we’d like to celebrate and promote this rework with as many global players as possible.

The discount period will start this coming Saturday(Mar 5th) at 12 am PDT, which is going to be right after the patch release, and last for two weeks. We’re so excited (actually quivering, to be honest,) to finally provide a better version of the script. With it, we’re really looking forward to the players fully enjoying the whole story and the details of the game.

In this update, we've added some Halloween decorations and also focused on bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

Starting today, we will now enable Steam auto-cloud, which syncs save files across devices. New saves will be synced, but already existing save files may not be included. Please refer to Steam's cloud FAQ for more.

A critical issue regarding steam cloud deleting local save files on Mac computers has been reported so steam cloud is now temporarily deactivated. This problem may likely occur when steam cloud fails to sync on some computers. Other game users on different game platforms have also went through the same problem, but unfortunately no proper solutions have been found to recover the lost files.
