Target-swapping shenanigans

Target-swapping is the way you channel your chad energy into the dodgeball before letting it loose.

When you see two enemies close to each other and you've got a ball, I'd almost say you've got a free hit staring at you; fully charge or perfect catch a ball, and right before you throw, switch to the person you aren't targeting: they'll have way less visual/audio indication that a ball is coming and they'll start thinking less about catching and more about looking for a ball or chasing you down to tackle, just generally less on catching.

It's great 1v2 / 1v3 mind-gaming and has gotten me so many free hits; give it a try.

Since people are trying to catch balls, if you are behind their back throw the ball with near to 0 charge and they will try to turn back and immediately catch it instead of dodging, but since the ball is slow they will waste their catch and get hit lmao, DODGING is mostly better in non 1 v 1 situations, catching is risky (unless a brawler is thrown at you).

depends if you are fast enough with reactions you can do this strategy, if you see 2 balls coming at you u dodge

i've heard KBM isn't the best atm but honestly why would anyone not play this game with a controller

I don't use controller, and I've had to start resorting to 360 spinning before throws to force the reticle to change targets, which also causes its own feint on opponents who don't know what you're doing.

Then again, as soon as I hit Silver 2, all I have encountered are lag switchers, and stacked 3 player teams (I solo).

just for clarification controller targeting gives you a huge advantage over KBM targeting
