Starforce

Developers, I would like to ask you something. The Original World Racing 2 had Starforce DRM, will the Stream version have Starforce DRM? I don't want it to break my computer.

The Steam version does not have StarForce DRM :)

All games published on Steam are verified by Valve to at least launch on modern Windows - so in other words, publishing a game with StarForce is virtually impossible.

Yeah, I highly doubt a game developer would re-release their game with what is essentially hardcore computer destroying malware.

What do you mean?

Starforce destroyed people's computers because of the drivers it installed, basically making the PC unable to boot

I just bought it... I don't think this version of WR2 will have the Starforce thing though, because the new devs said that they think Starforce would be impossible to include with how Steam and Valve work to verify the games

Steam itself is DRM, so starforce is redundant.

What do you mean?

What I mean is any developer would be stupid to release a game on steam with a drm so notorious and destructive it makes denuvo look like it was crafted by god himself.
