Report a translation problem
You can give any of your lands to your Lords, no matter where it is located. If you are playing with the Sultans and Kings DLC, then eventually your lords' armies will be like a swarm of locusts. Make sure you check their box to "Serve."

i'll try utilizing the 'in town' view more, maybe that will break up the tedium
i guess im just doin something wrong. i got 'serve' active i thought. but even if i 'add new lord' the list of lands i can give is limited only to my historical lands even when i control nearly everything. ---i'll hafta play with it some more

When you are in the Chancellor's window, and have your nation selected, then you can choose one of your Lords and give him land. A check-the-box menu appears and you slowly go through the list of lands available and check the hamlet or city that you want to give him. The list will include all your cities and hamlets.
