Game freezes after the Ritual Entertainment logo

After the Ritual Entertainment startup logo video finishes, it freezes as shown in the linked screenshot above. I googled for fixes including:

1. -novid launch parameter
2. Renaming the .exe
3. Compatibility mode to Windows XP
4. Removing gameux.dll
5. Enabling the "loose" beta
6. Launching the .exe outside of steam and inside steam (Steam won't allow this).

However, none of the solutions work.

My relevant specs are:
- Windows 11 (Same issue on Windows 10)
- AMD Vega 56

I tried the game on another PC that has Windows 7 installed and a Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti GPU but the same problem occurs.

And yes, my GPU drivers are up to the date.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I can't play the game at all.

I have encountered the same issue. Sadly, I don't think anyone will be able to help us with this.

I tried a 3rd computer with Windows 10 + AMD R9 270X GPU and the game works. I have no clue why.

Glad it worked out. Guess I need to change my PC as well :P
