Demo Review: Solid Work So Far
While flipping through this Steam Next Fest, I found this and initially wrote it off entirely as a generic game having nothing to do with Stalker past the name. While psionic magic and world collapse aren't what I normally consider in the realm of Stalker, this was still one of the more engaging demos I played. I wanted to leave a review in support. I really do think there is some potential here.

The card and deck building gameplay is very simple, which I do like. This is the kind of card battle game I would recommend to someone who doesn't like card battle games. Very straightforward and easy to understand. It would be nice to see equipment that provides more than just one card each though. That aside, the writing was much better than I was expecting and in tone for a Stalker inspired game. The setting of a world in mass delirium is quite interesting and engaging too.

The only hard criticism I have for this is that there are some serious bugs that need hammering out.

If the developer sees this: I was impressed beyond my reservations. Keep at it. I would really recommend reading the Stalker - The SciFi Roleplaying Game by Burger Games for some alternate setting ideas to set this game apart from the more famous S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. There are some really good idea lists in that one, and Quasi-Chemicals, Xenoweapons, and Inorganics would fit in to this type of lore. Good luck with the development.
