But I happily watched every bit of this story, because it was written with subtext and personality and purpose. Even the tutorial stuff. Can't wait for the full game.
You can goof around as much as you want up until you would normally be allowed to but the demo stops. You can only water plants so much though so sooner or later you do run out of seeds...or at least it wouldnt let me water anything anymore. Maybe I coulda afk'd for time passage or something but kinda doubt it.
Im still debating if I want to get the game on release. Alta just makes me want to strangle the character herself to death and hope another main character wanders on screen that is less annoying.
Also, the whole "sword is too heavy" felt way too on the nose, really lacking in storytelling
The thing is you gotta do it well. And the people who are stressed and need are impatient. So you need to lean into it slowly. It would be like one telling someone to meditate after an accident :D Can't go from lvl 0 to lvl 100 in one go. And how long is the best? One could say it could be 20 minutes longer intro. So it is a hard balance. Personally all the dialogue made it too annoying for me
Then I guess It depends on the player since im myself going through so much lately and happily enjoyed the demo. The message reached out
