Friendship with Benefits Next Update, Waifu Royale and FAQ

To celebrate such a fantastic launch, I've decided another update is in order.
You may have noticed that I've been doing small daily updates, fixing bugs and typos here and there, and I'll continue to do that until every single one is squashed.

Currently I'm also working every day for an event called 'Non-Stop Nut November', where I draw one picture a day, which you can see on my Twitter. After that however, I'd like to jump straight into making a free update for FwB. I want to introduce some additional sex scenes. My main focus is wrapping up the Werewolf arc introduced in 1.10, and also add a small extension onto Cindy's story. However, those focus on side characters, and I was wondering which main character could use a little bit of love? Well, there are just so many, I'm not sure who I'd give another sex scene to.

So, I've decided to have a little royale, where all the girls and compete for your affection, and may the best girl come out on top!

I'd like to add all of these, however, there isn't sufficient Ren'Py documentation for me to implement achievements, so I'll be unable to add those. In regards to the other four, I'll try my best.

Any male characters?
FwB features a male protagonist and only female characters.

Any animations?
Unfortunately I can't animate, only draw. I had considered commissioning animations, but it's very expensive, time consuming and hard to implement into Ren'Py, it doesn't seem to like .gifs very much and you can't play one with text over it.

Gallery?
Yes, there is an art gallery, a crystal ball that lets you rewatch scenes and a music gallery. All features have to be unlocked by playing the game.

I'm really happy to hear that, despite the small price, you do already plan to extend it further for free, thank you very much for that.

You did quite great, as far as I can judge after some hours, but I'll need some more time for a proper written review.
But I'm certainly looking forward to more, free or paid, both.

I am very impressed you made this game, I have seen your art before and just assumed you were commissioned for this game. I know VN are not masterpieces of codeing but I am still impressed you put so much work into it going out of your way to make this Gold star for you.

If I remember correctly RenPy animation are just predefined image sequences with pauses, so depending on how you create your images (Gimp/Photoshop?) it shouldn't be difficult to use layers to create animation steps for the characters/scenes, albeit time consuming. You should look into "inbetweening" which is often used in cartoons for fast movements. That way you might be able to create a decent animation with just a few frames (= less time drawing). If you make them toggle-able in-game, those that don't like that style of animation can just turn them off.

then give yourself a big pat on the back. every time i think the writing might steer into one extreme or the other it levels out. when i started reading i was afraid it might start getting preachy on one pov or another but im happy to see both sides presented on most topics and that yeah not all the characters have the same view. its genuinely refreshing to see some of the more sensitive topics be used without going into extremes. I havent finished the game yet since im taking my time but if theres ever an expansion or sequel in the same vein im sold.

Thank you for making this! with all the drama IRL this was an amazing light hearted (and erotic lol) experience with great world building
the meme " when you came for the porn but the story is fire" has never been so relevant until now, great writing!
EDIT: posted a review after getting to the end slide thanks again for this gem, hope your game manages to hitch a ride on the steam algorithm to the frontpage and becomes a huge success, have to admit this was the best random find and buy choice 2020 !!
