Feedback: Pathing to Centimanes
Why are there infinite spawning monsters on the way to the Centimanes in the Cesspit? Why are you punishing us with losing life to get to the bosses?

This is beyond annoying.

LOL. Yeah i had this exact same thought when i was going through that section. It resolves itself.

The spawners switch of when you kill the bosses. You can safely go through those spawn areas to get all the items you may have missed. You will only have to kill the annoying spider things once without them respawning.
I'm talking from the rest area to the bosses. I don't mind going down through them infinitely, but if you die to the boss...you can get hit many times again to the boss. It's annoying just for the sake of being annoying. This problem plagues most of this game.

There's a save point near the boss, so you shouldnt be going through the web tunnels etc again. You basically only need to dodge a few spider thingies and jump into the boss area. Literally takes about 10 seconds to go from save point to the boss.

Your opinion is valid. So is mine. I think it is annoying and needlessly painful. Wait till I make a post about how the bosses are horribly made because most of them rely on adds instead of being a good boss on their own.

I haven't even given an opinion, once i understood you were talking about the boss run-back i just stated that the save point is right next to the boss, I think you are getting a bit overly defensive and uptight now. Had you not found the save point near the boss and you were having to go through the web tunnels over and over again, that would be extremely annoying and i would of agreed with you.

The spiders in the landfill between the boss and the savepoint don't even respawn / come back to that location anyway, you can literally dodge them all in 3 jumps for no damage, dont even need to fight them. It literally takes 10 seconds, so what you are complaining about is literally a non-issue.

I too had the opinion at one point that the bosses were frustrating and not good, i later changed my own mind on this once i realised that the bosses are designed very deliberately and took time to learn the patterns and nuances i began to appreciate it a bit more. You can have whatever opinion you want at the end of the day, whether you like or dislike the game makes no difference to me, i've already fully completed it.

If i had a complaint about the bosses, its that i would liked to of seen more of them. The futuristic / cosmic horror elements mixed with classic Greek entities is fascinating and would of been interesting to see how some of these entities, such as Cerberus, Minotaur, Hydra etc etc would of been interpreted in this game.

Thank you, HoneyDruid. I posted several days ago about the first spider boss with its infinitely-dropping minions as being a frenetic and spastic mess. So double that chaos now with the simultaneous spider bosses. With the delay pulling up the shield and, for that matter, the delay of the Gladius, it's like I am always doing my best to time the swing or shield while attempting to dodge the quasi-bullet hell that is thrown our way.

I guess this is a diet version of Hollow Knight and the Lost Crown, and as I said in my first post, I was hoping for more Symphony of the Night. I have really enjoyed the exploration, and I might be in the minority, as many want more enemies over the ratio of exploration. To me the bosses don't have a good rhythm at all and ruin the experience; you just need to basically have a seizure on the parry button, as well as the Gladius and the lantern to try to zoom away from the projectiles.

I stopped for good after getting pasted too many times by the two spiders, and after seeing a YT walkthrough for these damn spider bosses, and even the flying statue, my controls never seemed as responsive and tight in real time as what I was watching on the video.

Oh well -- it's a really pretty game...

Not on steam you haven't, nothing in your post history, you only have 5. What first post are you referring to?

EDIT: Your last post was 8 Nov 2020 by the way,

I deleted the post as it was about the intial post-Underworld boss. My affirmation of HoneyDruid was the focus here.
