blob care and ability usage
1. my blobs are all extremely happy based on their status UI but only give %50-55 eggs despite perfect temp, deco, food, no poop, petting every day, etc. whatever hidden stuff is not shown to the player definitely should be visible such as playing with them or feeding them a favorite treat . More upfront information on how to solve bad egg issues without needing to leave the game to search would be amazing.

2. swapping blobs for ability usage on the farm is tedious. some kind of wheel selector that lets you summon a blob temporarily without going through barn menus could be one solution

3. temperature is a headache to manage even with the new thermostat. i think there are too many temperature tiers. if there were just 3 it would be easier to manage but the con to this is that cross-breeding 2 different blob types would be harder due to a bigger gap in temp desires... no matter how you really slice it, temp is just annoying.

3. combat abilities should tell you what they do if you hover over them.

4. some kind of general feed for blobs that could be crafted in bulk would be nice. for now i use only heart fruits but feeding them these makes all production cease which is not ideal... i would even say that replacing the random consumable favorites and just making it "blue, red, green" feed based on their type would be better than hoping your blob doesnt ask for 600coin foods every single day. So a regular feed suitable for all but loved by none and 3 type-based feeds that give extra happiness or something if given to the right type is what im thinking.

For point 4, when it comes to blobs being happy in the barn, you don't need to give them anything specific. Any foragable or farmable food that you have excess of can be used to stock the barn just fine. Feeding blobs their asked for food is just for increasing their max HP, not for happiness.

the only thing I can think of then is that I'm not playing with them every day with the blob toys. takes too long to do. the toys take forever! :/ 70% looks like the best I will ever be able to get lol

So it looks like in the wiki, the author was able to get up to 98%. Leaving them their desired food and playing with them each day appears to help.

I think that would have driven me crazy to be so close to 100% but not quite there even after deliberately focusing on making them as happy as possible while following a guide.

Toys and food cravings are the only 2 things that I'm not enjoying about this game so far. Both of them are tedious. Toys: there's too many of them and the minigames are too long; Food: lack of recipes or seasonal ingredients causes me to stockpile and never make money from crops.

The food thing wouldn't be as big of a deal if farming wasn't so slow. Even with all the abilities for farming on blobs I still have to swap my team around several times to get a whole field turned over; then I have to spam food into those blobs to upkeep ability cost while farming (stomp>seeds>fertilizer>harvest>repeat). Ideally I would have more energy on the blobs so I can use less food but that requires playing with toys consistently for a long time which I really don't enjoy doing.

For now I am done with everything the game has to offer until the next update but I am hopeful that at some point in the future the blobs will take less time to upkeep. The queen blob was a big step in the right direction imo! also the sprinkler blob stands have helped cut down on the amount of blobs I have to swap around when farming.
