Cherries and mithril ore

Are cherries and mithril ore available to harvest/mine somewhere or is that for a later update? I've two recipes I can't craft without the cherries and I can't upgrade my tools any further. Just wanted to make sure I've not missed them somewhere. Sorry if I missed a post on this, I tried looking it up but nothing came up.

Mithril bars (not ore) can be gotten once a year (yes, I'm afraid so) by putting good enough food in the cauldron on the Week 5 Ceres Festival. Ore isn't to be found yet, it would seem.

As for cherries, I don't think they're implemented yet either.

Exactly. Cherries arent implemented yet. The devs already confirmed that.

Oh you can eat them, if you go to the restaurant - and you get the recipe for doing so - but you can't currently make them.

Red Cakes and Cherry juice and Banana Splits all get their cherries in 0.7
