Sharing Custom Teams & Leagues

Custom leagues are stored here:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\26k\Sunday Rivals\data\leagues

On some computers the 'AppData' directory might be hidden. To see it, in your explorer window click the 'options' button in the ribbon, then switch to the 'view' tab. Under 'Advanced Settings', find the option that says 'Hidden files and folders' and select 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives'

Naming conventions are critical, as the game expects to find the following things:
4 league directories, 1 for each custom league
(league_1, league_2, league_3, league_4)

Mandatory Files:
league file that matches the directory name (league_1.lge inside the league_1 directory, etc.)
32 team files (team_0.ros - team_31.ros)

Optional files:
HeadHunter save file (tourney.dat)
HeadHunter Records save file (tourney_record.dat)

Sharing Individual Teams Between Leagues

You can easily copy and paste individual .ros files, but afterwards the league file will be out of sync with the new team, which can cause some confusion the next time you play the game. You can fix this in-game by either:

1. editing something in the new team file you copied over and saving it.

2. go to load league screen (folder icon) and open the utilities screen (wrench icon). Click the 'sync league' button

After that, everything should look ok again!

Notes:

+ If any of the 4 custom league directories are missing, the game will recreate default versions of them for you when you start up the game again. Deleting a directory can also be a simple way to 'reset' a league, if you needed to do that.

+ All 32 team files are required even if your league has less 32 teams.

How many games and playoff teams for the 4, 8, 16, 24 team seasons?

I'm hoping to support different options so you can customize your league how you want and pick the number of games, how many teams make it, and maybe even allowing for things like league rankings to seed post season brackets.

Awesome. I love this game. Those are the options I've been waiting for since the original maximum football for the pc in 2006. If this game is successful you should really consider taking this and making a college football game. Think about it. Same options of games, number of playoff/brackets teams. It would be a money maker I think. Keep up the good work. I'm pulling for ya.
