Bugs and suggested feature

Hello,

Thanks for playing Inexistence Rebirth :)
Like I do for the first version, I want to be really reactiv for bug fix (if needed.. I hope don't :P), and for added some features or additionnal content in the game.
So please, don't hesitate to use this topic to suggest me ideas or bug, and I'll try to fix/added them as soon as possible!

Hi! I encountered what looks like a bug in the game - there's a secret room at the bottom of the castle (five blocks from the bottom, 10-12 blocks from the right) that doesn't seem to have an entrance. There's a passage on the map leading to it, but no way to get in that I can find - either in the long vertical shaft that's the top of that map square, or the dead-end hallway at the bottom. If you'd like I can link you a screenshot of the room in question!

Wait, there's no secret room there? Then I have no idea where the last puzzle piece is, because I've explored the whole map! Is there another one that isn't in a secret room, like in the first area?

Yes, there are two in the cave, first one is available at the beginning in a whole at the right just after beating ennemy with giant sword (in the map where you push the box).
Second is in the map where you fight Dragon ennemy.

If you already have those one, try to check in moutain map!

Edit : Oops my bad... Room you mentionned before is the last one with puzzle piece. And you can acces, but it's not that way, you have to go to cave and it's the map at the left.
Just need to resets the ways.

Thanks for letting me know about the map error! The final puzzle piece was there! Finding it, weirdly, led me to another bug! I had already purchased the golden pendant, and when the shopkeeper tried to give it to me, it wound up erasing the pendant from my inventory! (I have video of this if you need it)

One last thing - is there an alternate ending, or just the one?

You cannot open the inventory with the sister, so you cannot close the game.

The store page say: "a lot of side quests" but there is not a single side quest in the game, or maybe just one "collect all pieces".

The german translation for "imputs" are a bit cut off. All I see is "astaturbedienun" instead of "Tastaturbedienung".

Many german imputs are still not translated.
up > hoch
down > runter
left > links
right > rechts
space > leertaste

At the german translation the controller vibration have only "Nein" and "Non". With "non" you have no vibration, with "Nein" you have. So, change "Nein" to "Ein" and "non" to "Aus", or "Ja" and "Nein" if you want the "Yes"/"No" translation.

Some serious issues with controls.


- Character every so often keeps running in a direction after i've stoped holding the direction.

- Up doesn't work on menus sometimes so I have to exit and enter it again and then it works, this has happened several times.

- I've had the sword not function after exiting the steam overlay then working after I either went into the menu or entered/exited the overlay again.

- Now the sword stopped functioning for no reason at all, still going to the steam overlay and back to game fixed it.. wtf

There's been more weird control things but those where the obvious ones.

I have this bug with the holy armor.

I'm not sure if this means item percentage, but I have 100% when I pull up my map, and haven't gotten the achievement for it. Could be that or a hidden room, but I have the Vagabond trait and explored all hidden rooms.

Ashfalor : That's really weird, you're the only one with that problem. It seem that someone the game lose focus... are you sure you aren't some application or pop up that appear sometimes?
I could check on my side but I never notice something like that, even during the beta test.

About the Holy Armor, it will fix in the next build, this week end!

Aduro : 100 % succes is for the map, if you complete all the map, succes should appear... I'll check why is not on your side, if I found a bug it will fix this week end. :)

marsHm311oW : I'll fix those translation issues, sorry for that!

Two other things:
I have alreayd read this on the forums, but because in sister mode you don't have a menu, you can't quit the game, otherwise than alt+f4

And would it be an idea to add a skip conversation button at the start of boss fights? The few that had it drove me a bit crazy every time I had to start over.

I'll add quit menu for sister, for sure.

You can skip boss fight with "Y" button (I mean, Menu button) :)
