DLC2 - 2 Missing Pages

"A Tale of the Ages" and "The Crane's Ambition"
I'm missing one page from each.

Do I need to die to a specific enemy to get these? They're the only remaining thing I need to get all the lore. The wiki and all guides for this game are entirely outdated at this point.
I'm almost entirely done with this game - though I'll probably run some endless mode afterwards.

So uh, update: I found the missing Crane's Ambition page - randomly drop from a normal enemy.

The only missing thing I have right now is the "Tale of the Ages" - which is the "Serpent and Fish" lore. (Unlocks Rootless Fossil)
Specifically, I'm missing the middle one. I think this one only drops from the final boss? Can anyone confirm? Maybe?

Also, I'm missing two relics - one is the rootless fossil but I don't know the other one. The two grayed out relics -> one is to the right of the Imperial Robe and the other is to the Nether Mist. I dunno which is which

and what relic is the other one???

Get the "New Contract" ending - which you unlock by completing the three stories "Tainting the Twins," "Origin of the Serpent" and "Eternal Agreement."

This ending is, I believe, the definitive ending to all events in the game.


You'll know you've done it once you fight the true final boss - and there's someone else there too.

Edit: you might have to be on the hardest or second hardest difficulty, so either the "Wood Pig Line" or the one after that.

So uh, I found the last lore piece. I broke some something in the third chapter and I found it. Hooray.

All that's left is to find and pick up one of the two relics I've never seen before: the Rootless Fossil or the other thing that I still don't know what it is... I'll try much luck in some endless runs I guess.

Well, I'm all done. I got all the achievements... except for dying 50 times. lol

I didn't find Rootless Fossil but I did come across the other Relic, the Contract which I unlocked a long time ago but randomly got when I started an endless run.
On that run, I got to floor 200, dealt infinity damage to the dummy and started trying to die. Finally died at floor 400 lol.
Anyway, I'mma take a break from this game for now.
