I can't even figure out what you're supposed to do in Rotgut once you get to the tunnel. Went all the way to the very end, then walked back and didn't see anything other than the chair and skeleton. There was also a purple ninja with four legs walking toward me but he disappeared after I looked away and then back.

Well I'm just confused on how to "complete" it so it gets checked off on Dread's main menu.

I had a similar bug happen; went to go play it, screen froze for a few seconds, achievement popped for it. I played a bit of Shattered, then when I exited the game, the pop up launcher for Rotgut was apparently underneath the Dread X window? I was playing in fullscreen mode in Steam's Big Picture Mode, if that helps narrow any possible issues down.

The collection itself IS a launcher for each individual .exe. So when you start a game, you might want to alt+tab to make sure it isn't already running behind the application. That's what im thinking might have happened.

Another bug: It seems that once you reach the The End screen (no matter which way you get there), the title screen appears with no mouse, and the only way to leave the game is to hit Esc and then Y on the keyboard, which isn't immediately obvious.

That's exactly what I did and then I went all the way back and tried to drown myself outside.

Update - I finished it but there's still the problem as Black Dragon states. But to finish the game .... Walk to the very end of the tunnel. Press up against the wall and walk left to right covering all the concrete. Turn around and start to go back. A concrete wall is now blocking your exit. You'll have to keep waiting until the wall gets close enough to suffocate and kill you. Game Over. That's a freaking long tunnel just to get to that end. Ugh.

Exactly this problem but there's more. You will get an achievement that you finished it and on the Dread X main menu it will be checked off as finishing it but......once you exit the Dread X collection completely and come back in it is re-enabled on the Dread X game menu as never finishing it. :(

we triggered the achievement to pop on launch... not sure why it wouldn't be there on a relaunch unless you reinstalled the game?

Nope. Just exited Rotgut and got the scratch marks, then the closed the Dread X game and started it right back up. No more scratch marks on the Rotgut icon of the Dread X menu letting you know you did it.

huh, try relaunching the game? the achievement file should be created on launch. maybe it's something we borked in an update

Yeah I played it a second time. The other thing I can tell you is that I never made it to the final end in the first run but it gave me the achievement. I quit it normally and the icon had the claw marks on it like it was done. When I restarted the Dread X Collection later in the day the claws were gone. I went back in and completed the true ending. Claw marks again. Quit the Dread X collection again and reload it. Claw marks gone.

Well, I just finished everything else and then played it again but immediately exited the rotgut game and got the "just the beginning....." achievement so I finished everything but the "secret" game but I did see the special thing in the mirror. :) Logging into Dread X application now permanently has Rotgut always marked with claws so no loner an issue for me.
