Demo Feedback
I just wanted to say that the demo is great fun. The game feels really polished already and I really like the impact of the weapons and that you can find so many different weapons. Maybe a few too many refill boxes throughout the level, but I guess that's necessary to avoid frustration.

Thanks for playing! The earlier levels have a lot of refill boxes, later on in the game it's generally fewer since the player will be more upgraded by then.

Hope you grab the game on Feb 16th when it launches!

The robot aesthetics could have been a bit more Wild West inspired, they look pretty bland tbh. Perhaps that can be remedied down the line?

They are in line with what we aimed for, bosses have their unique looks and the enemies are easy to read against the environments.

You can swap weapon with the tab key, 1,2,3 and the scroll wheel. I would however suggest playing with a PS or Xbox controller to get the best twin stick feeling :)

I enjoyed the demo, liked the reloading mechanic. I'd suggest letting us remap controls for controller - at least I would like to reload with the left bumper so I can quick reload without having to take my thumbs off the stick mid fight

We are considering layout remapping for a upcoming update. But left bumper is unused so adding reload there as well as the regular button would be a really quick change. Thanks for the input and thanks for playing!

I played plenty of demos today and so far this is among the most polished ones, good job!
Will you focus on replayability and meta progression or is it something that's not in your scope?

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

The game features 6 bosses to complete (each have their unique boss fight and level) with 4 different areas. We are also working on a larger update that will add a Challenge Arena type mission where you fight a set of rounds and try to survive to bring back a big reward as well as another mission type.

At launch the game has the skill tree, the base upgrade system as well as a generated tonic system that gives the player temporary boosts that last a few missions.

So there is plenty content to play with at launch but we will be adding more later on :)

Re: remapping - I use a bit of an odd keyboard and so the space bar is not accessible at all with my left hand, so remapping for not just controller would be fantastic.

Remapping is absolutely on the board for upcoming updates, at least in some way.
