I LOVE the iridescent options. I LOOOOVE the iridescent options. The character creator in this game has always been really good from what I can tell but the iridescent options are AWESOME. I don't know if they're a pain in the butt or not so in case they are, know they are appreciated. They're sort of a test of your knowledge of the character creator too since they do kind of have a visual effect on the underlying colors. A natural skill = reward thing that doesn't prevent less skilled players from making fun looking characters but does allow more work to be rewarded.
Another flying thing. When flying animals turn, they rotate on sort of an axis with their backs twords the inside of the turning circle. Sometimes it feels like the wyverns lean in the opposite direction like they're riding a bike poorly. I don't think it will matter much with the noodle as it has no wings and flys in a way unlike any real animal but maybe keep it in mind for future wing bearing flyers and revamps.
If you ever add a gliding mode it will be extra important for realism. Side note there's already a combat mode flight toggle that I haven't seen anyone use but a gliding/soaring mode could be very nice.
I actually like the lack of fall damage and hope it stays. Especially since velocity damage is still possible. But like, it's fun to leap off cliffs and be fine. If regular fall damage is ever added maybe there could be a spell so reflexes can save you sort of like how if you're mid-dive now and you realize you've big oopsed you hit F and it's sort of like you successfully braced for impact as you turn the flight off. If you have no plans to ever give lindy a gliding ability them being able to not take fall damage with their chicken flaps which do allow them to leap could still be good.
On top of all this you feel like something stronger then a human and if fall damage does come in, I hope we'll still need to fall quite a bit farther to trigger it. These creatures are suppose to be somewhat magical in nature so it hardly feels impossible.
Faster ground movement would be nice, as well as the ability to back up. Running right now feels like driving a truck up hill.
A way to locate my den would be nice--it's so easy to get lost.
I'd like to be able to zoom out further so I can see my entire character AND so it won't fill up the entire screen.
Finding food right now is really boring. I'd like to hunt.
A new animation for gathering materials would be nice. Chomping at the air is fun and all, but I think digging would be more immersive.
It'd be cool to be able to grab things in your mouth or talons and drag them places, or snatch birds midair to snack on.
I'm actually working on my own game right now. It involves some very complex flying mechanics including wind and momentum. It's still pre-pre-alpha, but if you want to toss ideas back and forth, I'm open to chat.
but the ability to do loopyloops and somersaults and barrel-rolls, and/or fly upside down would be amazing. maybe by holding a special keybind while flying would allow you to instead of turn to barrel-roll to the side
and instead of flying up and only going a certain way up you continue rotating the dragon until you are either upside down or have done a loopdyloop. Or you could do a half barrel-roll until you are upside down
though barrel-rolls might be a bit much considering it would probably require new animations for most, if not all, flying types...
I would be delighted if upside down flying would become a thing! It would grant more freedom in flight and fun ways to make tricks, its disorienting in a fun way!
I love this game and will continue to love it,
thank you for reading my suggestion!
have a good day!
The totem of your den is being shown on the compass.
We've got news for you! :)

There are different people working on art and mechanics.
I'd also like to be able to keep the classic european dragon model, I like how narrow and nimble it feels. I know the new one is going to be much chunkier and have even bigger wings (yay, big wings!) but I really dislike how hefty it is.
That being said, I do like the new additions of NPCs. The quest system is a little clunky, but the villagers to talk to are nice and fun to learn lore from!
Heading over to buy now to support the development of the most promising dragon game on Steam, even if it turns out to be something I won't play, it's worth $15 USD on potential alone.
No Button works, incuding play, settings, quit or even the social buttons on the left.
Only thing i can do is alt+f4.
I reinstalled the game fresh, same thing.
I can't fathom how you can screw up so hard.
