Why would you release a game like this? A delay would have caused far less resentment than releasing this abomination. What an embarrassment for everyone involved...
It was a terrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea to force us to play leaders to unlock other leaders. I have a limited amount of time in the day and I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your sense of replay if it interferes with my ability to play the leaders I want. Stupid mechanic. Why do you have to keep releasing games that require massive updates to be complete?

Why haven't you released any patches yet? Are you actually going to wait until March to release anything? You guys need to start releasing updates. This is really a pathetic launch.

Umm there was a patch pre launch to address issues. And they announced they are taking feedback and building a patch based off that feedback.

Your comment is pathetic.
Hey Firaxis; How about a patch to allow me to SAVE THE GAME??? I made the mistake of installing to a different drive and your programmers didn't expect that?????

Surprised more people aren't complaining about the meta progress stuff. It is completely against the design philosophy of a sandbox strategy game like Civilization. Give players the option to disable it and/or unlock everything without grinding over and over to get them. Just feels horrible to have power locked behind grinding games.

no, priority 1 is to make it possible to launch the game without it systematically crashing.

These AAA disasters just keep rolling out. Steam needs to change their refund rules.
Imagine having $60 in DLC at launch and having an incomplete game

Please add an option to limit the display to fps, I don't need to have 144 fps and 90% component usage, just give a cap of at least 60 fps so everyone can choose what they prefer.

While it is a shame that there are a few glaring issues with the launch (the GUI notably), I still enjoyed playing the game and experiencing the new systems and mechanics. I'm very excited for the future of this game when extra content is released and the common issues are patched out.

Yeah good message, but I would like to point out that the issue of the UI was pointed out to you before, so that makes it really weird that the Ui is this way. At the same time, the game is great and I don't think it deserves the strong reaction it is currently getting.

Game is fun. Enjoying it for the most part but really no Greek Leader but Greek Civ? Can we please have the choice of not having to choose a new Civ after era ends?
You could also release the full game if we are paying full price. These mediocre "DLCs" should have been part of the game.
can we get a way to see full advanced settings in ongoing save games
also eras are too short in marathon the ai barely gets out its first town in governor before the crisis hits
