Any plans to move away from JS/CSS/TS based UI into something better suited for PC gaming?

Sorry we released our game in a barely playable alpha state missing key and core features previous games had on launch. But hey we are going to push back our monetization by a few months to make up for it as we finish development of some of those missing features and we will totally plan on putting the others in later as well. You can trust us.
Sadly don't think I can anymore.

In case you missed it. The game is still sh*te. No amount of sugar coating will ever change that.

Research queuing and "one more turn" being hot ticket updates 2 months into the commercial release of a game who's OFFICIAL TAGLINE is literally "One More Turn" is a testament to how low the standards have sunk for this franchise and for what is considered a finished product. Civ VI was missing some depth on launch to be sure, but at least it felt like a complete game. This is simply not a finished product - still.

And what's worse is your poor devs can't even begin to fix most of the real gameplay issues right now either, because I'm sure the wonderful people in upper management have frantically tasked them with trying to make the game have even half the features your previous 2 titles offered in an attempt to stop the numbers from cratering into ~5k avg daily players, which is its current trajectory.

My disappointment with VII is palpable and I feel like a complete fool for pre-ordering the deluxe edition.

What happened to Civilization?

Yes let's just devalue and mitigate the *only thing* that'll actually course correct this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumpster fire. I'm glad you've found a solace of sorts in the title, but just because you're amongst the shrinking minority that did so does not mean that there was, (and still is) a growing majority of us that see the indolency of an entire dev team & their inability to follow through; and wish for it to change.

TL:DR add something useful to the conversation instead of putting out low effort bait, otherwise go back to consooming your current plate of slop. Just because you'll eat anything they put in front of you does not mean that the rest of us will be held to your standard. :jimbo:

I think they keep posting news so they can tell the executives about how much "engagement" the game is getting even though it all comments about how it is a hot pile of garbage except for the comments they paid for.
Ok, the game is good but NEEDS more eras, wonders and techs. And the fact that almost all the buildings become obsolete when you move to another era, you just stop building them when the era is 65% or above, thats crap.
Achievements for Lovelace, Bolivar and Napoleon (x2) when?
A screen to see our active trade routes when?
Independent Powers need a serious bugfix, they often glitch out of existence when they should turn into City States. Their tiles then become unusable (this also tends to happen when they're simply defeated by military force). Independent Powers in general need a big rework.
Also, nukes are basically useless since unlocking them also unlocks the Operation Ivy victory.
Also, we need more scientific civs in the Modern Age.
