AI won't accept peace, endless war
I have an Alliance with a civ. And went into war with then. The AI has since made peace, but now I'm stuck here, and the AI won't accept peace. They aren't attacking me, and I'm not attacking them. I'm not sure whey they won't accept peace. I feel like I'm going to be at war with them for the rest of the age without being able to do anything about it.

The make peace screen should add the option to trade gold, influence, or resources to come to a deal. instead of just trading cities.

AI buys "War Support" 20x with their unlimited influence and happiness and now you're stuck with a -20 combat debuff because of "war weariness"
yeah, the only thing that the AI seems to consider when it comes to negotiations is whether or not they're on the verge of losing a city to you, so attacking them back is basically the only way to end a war

They should both tune it down, or make it so the longer the war goes on, the more likelihood of them accepting peace AND allow for better negotiation options. I'd be happy to spend 200 influence to end a war. And if I'm the aggressor, maybe I would accept peace in exchange for influence or gold. That's how civ 6 worked. An AI offering 60 gold per turn for peace, sure. Sounds good.

The best way to force peace is to have a bigger army. And to put that army near their cities, they'll surrender as soon as they see you.
