Firaxis Crash-Reporter

The game has crashed once for me so far. After that, the Firaxis crash reporter opened. However, it doesn't matter whether I choose to send the report or not. Nothing happens.

After each playthrough now, I see the display again, even though the game didn't crash.

What can I do? I've already tried repairing the files, but that doesn't help either. How can I prevent this Firaxis crash report from opening every time I start the game, even though the game won't crash?

You can stop that from appearing, by (in Windows) going to this locatin:

<steam library>\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Base\Binaries\Win64

And there delete any file ending in .dmp.

Perhaps the crash reporter failed to send that in (or delete in case you selected not to send it). But such a file triggers the reporter to pop up again.

Oh, I don't know, what I've done. But the crash report box wen't away suddenly. But thank you for the answer. I look after these files.
