Crashing in Civilization VII?

We’ve seen a few crashes in our data and want to help those who may be experiencing issues playing the game.

3 days ago I posted, like everyone else here, that the game crashes in both DX12 and Vulkan. My Video card is the following: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and I have found a solution. SO this might help.

Trying to update the video Card through Device Manager nor Windows Update, won't work. I even uninstalled the driver hoping that the system updates it with the latest version. It simply won't.

However for those, who have NVIDIA cards, just download the NVIDIA app directly on Windows from here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/. Let the app update the driver. Then you need to pair Civ 7 with the card within the app by pairing the Civ.exe or the folder where the game is installed.

And yipeee. This worked.

Tried both DX12 and Vulkan, game will not start. It says running, and then just closes out. I don't even get a window to pop up. I've tried restarting, reinstalling drivers, and also verifying the files.

Game crashes immediately when trying to launch, its an older computer but i think it still hitting the min specs.

Crash when going to start second age.

Gets all the way through setting up the game, go to start it. C2D with 1/4 of loading bar remaining

Any solution? Mine still won't work and I've tried rebooting and starting in safe mode. You can't repair permissions on the latest OS like you used to be able to do.

I have updated drivers, verified install, and tried other suggestions, but no matter whether its DX12 or Vulkan, all I get is a black screen.

I luanched thé game for the first time, with DX12, it instantly crashed my computer and I got a bluescreened.
After restarting windows doesn't boot anymore and thé recovery tool cann't fix the issue.
I am now installing a fresh windows...
