Augustus leading Mongolia cannot complete The Army's Soul
Playing as Augustus and the Mongolian civ in the exploration era, I got a quest called "The Army's Soul" that I cannot complete. It requires me to train a Knight, Man-at-arms, and Crossbowman. I cannot train a crossbowman, because my ranged units are Keshigs. I have knights, man-at-arms, and many keshig, but am stuck.

I haven't trained everything yet, but as I'm Spain and so my Infantry are Tercio so I cannot get Man-At-Arms. I hope it still counts....
maybe levying units works as well, so maybe if you are suzerain to a city state you might have a workaround for this bug
tho.... I m not sure if the city states ever produce crossbowman, i think I ve only seen them with heavy archers in the exploration era....

Can confirm it doesn't. I have a man-at-arms equivalent Tercio, and both the Knight and a Crossbowman, and it didn't trigger. Though I do wonder if the language of train means I have to build rather than upgrade? Doubt it.

Playing Spain, training doesn't matter. Tried training all 3 just in case. It only triggers in you have your own Men at arms...levy doesn't count either

Same issue. The quest doesn't account for civilizations which have specialty units that replace items needed in the quest. Really frustrating.
