I paid for it, have no idea if the value is there.

thinking about it myself
Just by numbers of civs and leaders added, Deluxe and Founder's probably won't be worth it, because there is so much variety in the base version already. Go for the extras only if a particular leader or civ is something you absolutely need to play, but, we won't know their identities until some point in the future, at least to my knowledge.

It is possible that somewhere on reddit or elsewhere, it actually is already revealed what civs and leaders will be in the two editions that have the extras.

It's more or less just pre-ordering the next DLC's, most likely at a bit of a discount. If you get the founder edition you get some other nice little cosmetic in-game things as well.

The editions above base are like pre-ordering. The price is $30 per 6-dlc pack.

"4 Civs" is kind of ambiguous term given you have no idea which civ or era it will belong to.

"2 Leaders": I have seen some leaders have two versions, hopefully they mean two completely different leaders.

"4 Natural Wonders" sounds like a 1 tile graphic to me which might have some bonuses. I would ignore this extremely low effort trivial addition when evaluating value.

So it's 4 Civs and 2 Leaders. I suspect most of the cost is for leader graphics and leader voice acting. It seems like leader are more closely aligned with what is considered Civs in the past. That kind of makes it 2 more traditional civs + 4 new choices for one of the 3 ages.

I am weighing my options on which edition to get too.

Xroads releases all in March, and "Right to rule" release 1 dlc per month from Apr - Sept.

Some games I bought in the past, don't let you get content (planet coaster 2) unless you pre purchased it before release. I guess as you said, that's not the case if I don't buy the most expensive edition

Well, additionally, deluxe and founders in include Tecumseh/Shawnee pack and 5 days earlier play. The pack might end up being preorder exclusive. But 1 leader - 1 civ doesn't seem worth the additional cost alone. 5 days is something that does not matter 6 days after, even for most inpatient of people. I guess if you are a streamer it might matter.

But this is 2k relying on FOMO.

I got the Founder's Edition because I liked what was included.
In case you didn't know, the founder edition is only going to be available until Feb 28th according to 2k's Civ 7 site.
£120 lol!, nah, I have plenty money, but not stupid ;)

I'm probably stupid, but i can't figure out difference between Deluxe and Founders editions. How much non-cosmetic stuff you'll have on top of Deluxe if you buy Founders?
