++ Haven't played for a few days, while waiting for the patch.:steamthis::steamthumbsup:
I see that one of my wanted features is included- the ability to upgrade all the units packed into a commander with one click as well as the Town/City repair all feature. I see some 'features' this community has asked for like displaying the building your city has just completed on the UI and the frequency of town specialisation reminders.

That video was a good watch. It's nice to hear that rebalancing for leaders and cultures is coming. I understand why they want us to play with the new food and growth system before making tweaks to such.

I think this patch is going to make quite a few of us very happy indeed. Of course, some folks are still going to be angry that we can't removed disasters altogether from our game or that One More Turn only applies at the end of the modern era. There will also, inevitably be new bugs or things not working quite right which I have no doubt will be the main focus of forum activity after the patch drops, particularly at the weekend.

I will start a new game when it drops as I've been waiting for the new patch. I will probably play as Confucius and have a China-themed playthrough to see how big I can grow my cities.

That's a good shout. I think I'll be heading into the mountains with Pachacuti and give him another go as my first playthrough left me unimpressed. Plus, I really dig Nepal in the Modern Age.
I also cant wiat to see the patch. :) Waitet for this with my urrent playtrough, after finalising the antique. Now i can explore the new explore festures in the exploration age. :)
Game is good, just need some support and fixes. I love Civilization franchise since Amiga times. This game really deserves more features and some polish as it looks beautiful and plays well.
What time will it be available?
(not date)
Not certain, but the last two patches dropped relatively early in the day.
Around 13-15h CEST
let's see if this patch is able to revive multiplayer which is already dead..... the first civ game where rarely anyone plays multiplayer
no it isnt, i dont think there even was any on line multiplayer with civ 2 or smac, at least i didnt play those or even had heard of those then.

I hope that food will become more than a funny symbol on the map.

Food would instantly make more sense, if it had a relevance for sustaining armies.
The upkeep for most armies should be food not money. What should the poor souls buy, if there ain`t no food anyways.
Modern armies to a certain amount ok, but all ancient and most exploration age armies should cost food per turn taken from their home cities.

That's not the way I want food to become relevant.

Well, snowballing armies shouldn`t be possible with no large food base.
Right now all you need is production to overrun your enemies.
Food logistics could (and imho should) be much more relevant.
