Antiquity Age - recovered 10+ codices, game only counted 8
Anyone else seeing this issue? Happened 2 games in a row now. I'm 100% sure I found at least 10 codices. The 2nd game it was going to be 12. The game stopped counting them at 8 (yes I had room in buildings and yes they were all assigned). I was studying mathematics master - had 8 codices. All assigned. When I completed I still had 8.

Happened 2 games in a row now. Wondering if others seeing this? If so I'll submit a bug report as I don't see one there now for this.

Somehow i missed someone else posting this 3 hours ago - looks like a definite bug. I'll submit a report. Definitely had room in buildings, buildings were not pillaged and had slotted all available codices. The codices just did not show up when completing the technology that says it will give you a codex.

Codices need to be slotted in buildings for them to count.

Edit: You must also be able to read, unlike myself here.

Hmm I haven't experienced this myself that I'm aware of... Could anything have to do with the cities that you have the codices slotted in being not connected to the rest of your empire trade network? I didn't think this mattered for codices, but maybe it does somehow?
Must be a counterfeiting racket going on! I would definitely check the authenticity of each Codex next time. :steammocking:

No I have not encountered this before. On a side note the Legacy option granting 1 science per Codex acquired in the next age is never worth it imho.

Nah, you never would select the legacy option of getting science (I think it is 2, not 1) per Codex acquired in the Antiquity Age. But the scientific attribute points are worth maxing out this legacy path. BTW, I have had this happen to me once -- I'm glad someone is going to report this on the Bug Thread.

For me it's always been 1 per Codex. I usually end up with the option for +10 or 11 science than I look at the science attribute tree and say to myself "Why would anyone choose a well placed library vs all the goodies on the Science tree!?"
