Report a translation problem
* a settlement in distant lands with treasure resources
* that resource must be a developed tile
* a fishing quay in that settlement
* the Shipbuilding tech
- Open the Age Progess box
- Select Economic
- Read the step-by-step instructions and perform them.
Even better, you can click on the box to display these era conditions on the game screen and they show you each step and what you have already completed.These are all true. And yet there is still a bug with the treasure fleets not spawning. I don't think the game is flagging "distant land" settlements correctly but the bug is inconsistent. I've created multiple settlements that all have the same criteria and yet only one will spawn a fleet. Same for taking over a settlement with a treasure resource and it not working.
Either way I hope it gets patched and the mechanics explained better.
The bug is that sometimes parts of the distant land (particularly the island strips) are part of the home continent, that's where it doesn't spawn. Hopefully tonight's patch addresses this.
It is literally getting the (Distant Lands) tag in the hover text for me and not counting. That said, the label of the island separated by deep ocean from my starting land does say the same continent name -- so not sure what is bugged, the distant lands, or the continent, or just everything.
