why, do you want to auto lose your game due to psychopath leaders starving their own people?
Wait, I thought mass murders like these were not actually communists but rather Not Real Communists©.
Somewhat true, funnily enough. If it works, Communism a great system of goverment.
But communism working is a fairy tale. Might as well say "a single immortal leader who is benign and uncorruptable is a great system". Yeah, true, but that's not how humans work.
Is why we probably won't get communist leaders ever again. One thing every leader in Civ 5 to 7 has in common is that they didn't destroy their own country and genocide their own people out of greed, corruption, and/or sheer idiocy. That means any communist leader is a no-go.
there are several "utopia" centered ideas/systems like this. they work on paper, in theory, but fall apart as soon as human nature is introduced. capitalism is far from perfect but its the best we've got right now.
Neither are very likely to ever exist in the real world. Though they will be used by people to justify their actions.
