Opening Video
How do you skip the opening video? It doesn't even stop playing when you hit ESC.

under OPTIONS there is a switch to turn it off.

Thanks. I did look at OPTIONS in-game, and didn't see the switch to turn off the opening video. Are there more options at launch?

i just left-click and it goes away immediately

I like that -- just like hitting ESC in Civ6, Civ5, ... right?

Go to Options:
select the System tab (the right-most)
Unselect Show intro video.

EDIT to add:
The next time you load up the game, you go straight to the main menu, you don't even see the Firaxis video. That's even better than in Civ 6 where you still got the incredibly noisy Firaxis and 2K games videos.
