シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VII

データを表示:
Is Steam going to step in?
As of now,

Base game reviews: 52% negative
Upgrade to Founders DLC: 60% negative
Upgrade to Deluxe DLC: 79% negative
Crossroads DLC: 87% negative

At some point, selling people a $140 product that isn't even close to finished is nothing more than fraud. Steam ought to be concerned enough to stand behind products they sell.

But, I guess some folks just don't care about being taken advantage of, and don't even mind if they don't use lube.
You're just mad because you pre-ordered without looking, and threw 140$ at something you're not enjoying.
FAFO.

Nobody scammed you, all the information about the game was present on the internet for months before release.
Next time control your basic impulses, and don't pre-order.

Please do go on about how the game is completely finished, a vast improvement over previous Civs and Take-Two delivered exactly what they promised.

You expect Valve to take action in response to trolls and review bombers? I'm sorry, but that's just 🤣

Firaxis has to live with it, that they split the community in half with Civilization VII.
What you are saying is very true, in face, Firaxis splits the Civ community with every new release. The argument could be that it has split it in half, like you said, which could be more radical than the times before.
But nobody can really say, there are no "solid" numbers for it.

Steam refuses to refund if you play more than two hours. 2K refuses to refund, referring you to the retailer. We got screwed big time on this POS "game".

This is the bottom line.

Take-Two promised a high-powered sports car and, instead, delivered a car with 3 wheels, no windshield, no brakes and a 2 cylinder engine.

Meanwhile, the fanboys tell us "Don't worry. You'll be able to drive it in a few years and it will be great then."

Based upon what? Is there any evidence that supports this? They've had SEVEN years to gameplan and build Civ 7. Seven years and we get this pile of bugged crashing unplayable crap.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated publicly on Feb 7: "We know we have a couple of issues. We have a bit of an issue with the UI, for example." Understated by a miles, he KNEW AT LAUNCH this game had major problems and still launched it.

But, I guess some folks just don't care about being taken advantage of, and don't even mind if they don't use [redacted].

You don't know how much of those seven years it was in development. We only first heard about it being worked on in 2023.

87% negative reviews is review bombing?
At the end of the day, the developers did not break any sort of law nor rule. It's unfortunate that you had a bad experience with the launch. But the game is playable and will still be available to those who enjoy it now. And those who wait for fixes.

Anything is review bombing to them.

They could very well do the oppsite and review boost, but that would be "different"
Luckily, it's a great game, and all the whining doesn't change that.

Nice Strawman, nice use of nebulous analogy. You're just winging because you didn't like it as much as you thought you would. Do more research next time. So much of these arguments is personal taste dressed up in thinnest pretense of actual criticism.

Nice sarcasm but this game is clearly not being review bombed on Steam.

Those numbers do not prove anything. I mean, do you not understand that the MAJORITY of owners do not write reviews or haven't even written a review yet? On Steam here, there's only just over 27,000 reviews and how many copies of Civ 7 was sold? Right here...

"Civilization VII, the latest installment in the Civilization series, has sold over 70 million copies worldwide. The Civilization series as a whole has sold 40 million copies, with Civilization VI being the best-selling title in the franchise."

So unless a simple Google search lies, that is what i am getting. Even if it is only half of that, it is still impressive numbers and sets a record for the series.

So what you put in quotes there, I don't think you meant to.

Civ VII did not sell 70 million units. That's just not possible.

However, I agree that most owners (of Civ VII) do not write Steam reviews.

So....
Civ series as a whole sold 40million copies worldwide
But somehow out of these 40 millions copies (forty million copies), civ 7, one game, the last installment, sold 70 million copies (seventy million),
Also, in the last sentence we can read that the number 6 was best selling, with logic above it surely sold approx 140 million of copies out of the 40 franchise sold.

I mean i might be wrong but math does not math here, at all.
