Civ 8?

10% of CIV8 will be released in 10 years time, of the remaining 90% a small percentage will be released in patches and the rest of the content and mechanics will be released in DLCs.

i got a free copy yet i still would rather play 6. I cant change civs mid game....no freaking way

I mean I would play the game if it was free. Cause I just like breaking games through minmaxing and this game is incredibly unbalanced. But yeah wild that people thought this was worth $70-130$.

I am actually having alot of fun.... I have over 65 hours in CIV7 so far.

Ridiculous statement that should be laughed off the message board. Anyone who appreciates good, solid gameplay mechanics knows that VII is already set up for success. It has rough edges? No kidding. Every launch version of Civ has rough edges going back to Civ III. Civ IV's base version, which is still playable is a boring end-turn fest; Civ V at launch was super basic that even modern mobile game players would scoff at it.

VI was arguably the most feature complete of the Civ launches missing a handful of units/features like the diplomatic victory but still adding a new victory type; the only thing holding VI back at launch was the wonky AI that hated you for everything.

VII has been a blast so far. It's the only launch version of a Civ that has kept me coming back consistently. The overlapping systems, the incredibly fun war mechanics, the removal of worker/builder tedium, the civ-unique civics, and crises make every playthrough feel fresh and engaging.

The haters are just expressing their collective copium so they don't feel so lonely while the rest of us enjoy the game.
