ENABLE ABILITY TO REMOVE TOWN
Please give us the option to raze our own town/city (in case we were not happy with the location). Almost every comparable game I can think of allows us to do that.

Many, alas, do not allow this. I wish they all did.

LET'S DESTROY DAT. KILL DEM. BURN DOZE. EAT DIS.
As much as I like the idea... in reality, i probably wouldn't use it, because the consequences would probably be as bad as razing a conquered city.

my suggestion: Let me trade/gift settlements

+ I second this
The game already gives you the option to plan ahead. That might be a better option than practicing ethnic cleansing on your own people.

Oh come on we don't need political correctness they're not real people.
Definitely should be a thing along with ability to trade towns in general(along with all other basic trading options!). It would make wars less tedious when all you want is one or two towns destroyed if you can get them in peace deal instead of wasting all extra time for inevitable result. Towns being razed should also not count towards settlement limit!

i disagree with razing a city like that. i've never heard of anyone that bulldozes an entire city for any other reason than that they couldn't keep it. doesn't make sense, too much wasted material. even if u level it, u still have to move the rubble too and.. yea, doesn't make sense in a real setting and this is supposed to emulate reality to some extent rather than emulating its own reality.. if u know what i mean: the game emulating the game, becoming the game.

i will counterpropose something i feel is not as unheard of: what about moving the city center? massive project, costly, moves the center ONE square in some direction. some valid direction.. as in there can't be a city center nearby.. and all other legal requirements, like not on resources. This would create a new urban area and also leave behind an urban area of some quality, or it would quarter an existing urban area. And it couldn't be built if there were no valid hexes to expand to.
With this you could snail your way across and get in reach of something, but the original site would act as an anchor, disallowing the center to extend more than 2 hexes from the original center.

I was going to suggest this (being able to move the city center)....before I realized how tricky this would be too implement in a game where a lot of things depend on adjacencies. Many things might get messed up, and certain building locations will no longer make sense. But if they find a way to pull it off, great.
Beyond Earth had that for the Ocean cities, they couldn't work the tiles they lost anymore, but could work the new tiles, also resources were still available (the old border stayed).
