How do I play England?

Call me a traditionalist, but in every Civ game, I've always had a playthrough as England. In this version, I can't even *find* England. The closest I can come to it is the Normans in the exploration period.

How do I unlock/access/play England?

The Normans made up the ruling class for a while, but the "Original English" would have to be the Celts or as most of us later became "Anglo-Saxon" or as my Russian friend calls me "Angloid" :P That said I guess Ireland, Wales and Scotland are all kinda Celtic, except Scotland who just kind of pretends because the Scots came and killed the Picks who were Celtic :P I understand they were not Vikings as well but did come from Scandinavia

Playing Normandy is also a bit like playing Vikings as well since in the historical game of Telephone its like Vikings become leaders of the Normans who become leaders of the English :P

I didn't know they are already releasing the fourth age in March. Can you tell us more about it or quote some dev source?

Civ V and VI also had multiple content packs released, and every Civ game from Civ II forward has had at least two expansions. So don't pretend that "monetizing" the franchise is suddenly a new and unprecedented thing.

Both Civ V and VI had content packs available on day one as preorder bonuses, and the first content/scenario pack for each game was available one month after release followed by a new content/scenario pack released every one to three months after.
