PoE2 better than Civ7

I was reading some reviews about Civ7, a bunch say this game is still in beta should not have been released.

Got me thinking,
PoE2 is Early Access, that game has great reviews, Civ7 $69.99 and people say still in beta?

Wondering how come PoE2 which is actually early access good reviews but Civ7 say if it is beta quality like the reviews say so, why reviews bad?

Anything to do with pricing? $69.99 thats high price for a game right, so should expect a complete game, bar higher than expect type of game?

Likely because PoE2 is upfront that the game is not finished and needs work, while Civ 7 claims to be a finished product and clearly is not. I own PoE2 and it is a decent game, from what I have seen of civ 7, PoE2 has far more intended content while in EA then civ 7 as "full release"

DLC is not meant to be used to finish the game, but to add onto or spice up the finished game. This seems to have been the case since Civ IV was completed and the game has been getting watered down ever since.

I played PoE for a couple of years. Loved it. PoE is different, attention is paid to armor/weapons and skills.., at least to me. I stopped PoE when they changed my Spin-to-Win character and he started dying more and more easily, Got frustrated and left the game. It is a very good game.

I basically ignore reviews, the only thing that concerns me with a game is if I enjoy it, what another individual thoughts are concerning a game is their business... does not apply at all. I bought the Founders edition for CIV7 and like. 160 bucks for me is 3-4 days not sitting on a bar stool, as I stopped drinking a while back I just spend money on items which make me happy. CiV7 is one of them. I have 80 hours in CiV7 so it has cost me 2 bucks an hour. A lot cheaper than beers, shots and a few rounds for friends.

The PoE2 community is the most obnoxious community on Steam. They spam the game everywhere. It's a Diablo clone that is "free to play" but it costs a few hundred dollars per season. POE2 is in no way relevant to the Civilization forums outside of spamming an off-target advertisement for the game.

I love POE2 but the games really don't really deserve a comparison because they are from 2 entirely different genres.

Yeah the PoE2 community is the most cult-like group I have ever seen in gaming and its beyond cringe....

While I agree, you make it sound like devs are actually reading everything.. Just ignore these threads lol.
For some reason feedback, bug forum channels all have some pinned thread where their asking to post relevant information but WONT READ user threads under that category. And after all this they ask you to post issues and feedback on their portal on their website so I dont know why they posted all this other pinned garbage.

And recently I found how much they try to get testing done from the player for even simple issues. Please write an issue about wrong description and you will be asked a video for the issue and to reinstall everything to guarantee no issues from that rofl.

You still think relevance and quality control makes a difference? Its all for us and not for the devs at this point. so yea seeing these threads every day is just an ignore moment
