I'll start it off with this one that i found really fun and made for a great game, i played it on sovereign level. I don't want to give away too many details but just one highlight was, there was this channel and you can move your ships through the channel out into the open ocean.

Also, thanks to WimpyTheWarrior for sharing the info on how to get the random map seed after the game has started. That is simply pressing ESC to pause the game and looking at the bottom right.
