I think there are a lot of gamers who on a wait and see with this game. They are still happy to play Civ 5 or 6 until the fixes and bugs are worked out.
This. Was the exact same when civ 6 came out.
Yeah, many still say that Civ series was at its peak with Civ 5.
Nah, Civ 6 had a much better launch, less negative reviews and more people playing too
The only comparable launch to Civ 7 would be Beyond Earth
You can't "call it" after it's already peaked and began to fall. 😂
Definitely. Today was there best chance for big numbers. Until a major patch/DLC, at least.
That has an all time peak player count of 86.892, and a review score of 59.53% from 22k reviews.
Civ 7 has now reached its likely peak of 84,558, and a review score of 51.74% from 24k reviews.
Congratulations to Beyond Earth for no longer objectively being the worst Civ game in history.
Goodbye friends, its been fun, but at this point criticizing Civ 7 is cruel.
"Stop, stop, he's already dead!"
Both Civilization games that tried to break the classic Civilization game flow ended up as the worst in the Series
Maybe there is a reason to it....
