Thank you folks who allowed companies to charge us 70 dollars for a video game.
Nicely done.

This game is about 10% complete. Why would I pay full price for that?
That’s what happens when the only way games can turn a profit is by running them as a software-as-a-service model. You want a 100% complete games, with all content and limited DLC models, at launch? Prices need to go up.

its not about the game being 70$. they are selling 1/3 of a game for 70$.
Of course it is.
Otherwise people wouldn't make the exact same complaints on games that get a more positive reception.
Not wanting to pay more is a mental thing, not a rational thing.
We all know $60 10 years ago doesn't equal $60 today.
if the game would be more feature complete and more cohorent like previous iterations without day 1 dlc and cutted content like 4th age and other predatory buisness practisies, there would be less outrage.

lol this community will remember with FONDNESS when civ 7 was ''only'' 120 USD.

If you purchased $1,000 of stock from Take-Two Inactive a week ago your return on equity would of surpassed the Founder's Edition price then you could of afforded with no problem.

Inflation is a thing and game prices haven't moved much in 15 years. People should be thankful for $70. If that is too much for you then just wait for a sale.
15 years ago games was half the price and actually good. Today's games are made for idiots and are completely broken woke trash most of the time.
LOL, the people offended by "woke" are so focused on a culture war they are missing the class war; just what the people you support want. Prices are only going up, on everything, faster now, but you are worried by a virtual black woman in a video game.
As long as inflation keeps rising prices will increase, don't thank the gaming community thank your capitalist overlords!

Paid more than that actually.

Of course you did. Another person who only cares about themselves.

Are you new to gaming?

The 90's doesn't have anything to do with this. Don't try to bring in the 90s or whatever to try and make it seem like this overpriced price is good.

Lots of users I see that do not value or care about their money. Give me it then, I'll spend it on actual good things.

When people didn't object to companies withholding content so they could trickle it out through DLCs to the tune of many times the base game, it gave companies the green light to increase the base game as well. They correctly figured that people will be less likely to notice hundreds spent on DLCs than they would adding $20 to $40 on to the base game. You can't put toothpaste back into the tube.
