Thank you folks who allowed companies to charge us 70 dollars for a video game.
Nicely done.

Cost of living crisis. If the devs rent goes up then so do their games. Energy prices have risen rapidly. Just keeping the lights on is tough for some. You know Nintendo 64 games used to cost that all those years ago. Do what I do and wait for sales.

You're welcome, my friend.

Not only did I buy the Deluxe edition for the advanced access, but I've enjoyed the game so much that I also bought the Founders upgrade as soon as it was available.

nah its more the idiots that are paying more for a game than its worth.....especially if you look at people like the first comment on this thread. so the devs are encouraged to charge more because they know there are many idiots willing to pay for a name, not for the content

You dont genuinely think games cost the price they do for the benefit of developers do you? The same devs that get fired by the hundreds to justify corpo paychecks every other month?

Inflation is a thing and game prices haven't moved much in 15 years. People should be thankful for $70. If that is too much for you then just wait for a sale.

Translation: "I'm too poor to buy things I want, so I will ridicule those of better means and convince myself that this somehow makes me smart."

Ah yes, our fault. Inflation across food, fuel, living costs, clothes, games. But it's our fault for spending our money on things we want. CURSE US! How could we not think of the impact our actions would have on these people we don't know or care about?

15 years ago games was half the price and actually good. Today's games are made for idiots and are completely broken woke trash most of the time.

Ah, there it is. The old "woke" argument again. Ironically coming from people who accuse those of us happy to spend our money enjoying games of not thinking about your ability to do the same. Funny how it's woke to care about others but now we're woke for not caring about you.

Not sure how that's meant to work.

Isn't the true non-woke thing for us to just say "get rich if you want game scrub" and ignore the rest of you?

Are you new to gaming? We were paying more than this for n64 games in the 90s when you factor inflation into it...
