What is Background Color in customization ?

hey

so what does background color do in the customization options ?? i unlocked the grey color and tried finding any change after enabling it but i didn't. i'm not far enough to have unlocked the next color option so i would love to hear from someone who already figured it out... what is it ? what does it do and what does it change ?

The circular icon you choose is in a square box.

In the customization screen, your selected badge is displayed on top of your banner. But on the main screen it is displayed in a quadratic box. You can only see how it looks after you left the customization screen.

ahhh so this is whats meant by the background color. thanks, now i understand :D

tbh i think the customization options are very barebones and badly presented. they should improve it massivly (for example you never see the full banner, which is beautiful except in the customization options themselfs. otherwise you only see a part of it, really cheaply and badly cut. it sucks, hope it will be improved
