Garbage Lost city/crisis machanics
Not sure what even happened. I was weathering the crisis, even had +happiness in all of my cities and towns but then all of a sudden I lost one of my cities to a different empire with little to no notice of that happening. It doesn't make sense and then I went the next age and half my cities became towns again. ugh, this game.

anyone can explain the crisis and losing system?

Cities besides capital become towns by default when changing ages. Game warns about unhappiness when town is going to be lost, but I've never lost one to it so dunno exacts. If I had to guess you had multiple wars going and enemies pushed massive diplomatic influence that bankrupted your happiness on last turn or something like that. Himiko at least has pushed like 5 levels of war weariness on me out of nowhere.

I had one joint war. I had +4 in the war effort compared to the enemies +1. In the beginning I had negative happiness in the one city but I quickly fixed it and before I knew it my ally had my city.
